From our beginnings in 1982 as a dedicated construction company, Shafa has grown on the pillars of integrity, precision, and unwavering commitment to excellence. What started as a vision to build with purpose has evolved into a diversified group recognized today for specialized marine and infrastructure design-and-build expertise.
Guided by the belief that true progress must serve future generations, we expanded our portfolio in 2015 to include sustainable agricultural ventures. This strategic direction reflects our core values resilience, responsibility, and stewardship of the communities and environments we touch.

Shafa Holding’s Corporate Social Responsibility is routed in our business operations. We are fortunate to have our businesses and investments take us to some of the most remote parts of the world. Our presence in areas such as Somali Land for port construction and in remote and rural farm areas of Iringa, Tanzania. This has allowed us to make positive changes to those communities around us. We have been given the opportunity to create employment, provide training to develop skills, create entrepreneurship through our business operations, improve and support local schools to provide more access to education and provide solutions to allow access to clean water and sponsor students for higher education outside of their local villages.
